Google chrome flash player not updating
Before installing it manually, please consider using instead Pepper Flash Player (with Freshplayerplugin if using Firefox).
If you find a problem with flashplugin-nonfree, then you are most welcome to report it in the Debian bug tracking system.
When browsing a Flash site, users tend to come across “The following plugin has crashed” error message or the icon of the plugin. If you configure this setting, then Google Chrome will ask for permissions to run Flash each time you open a site. The web browser recommends users to enable the setting for Flash. If Flash does not restart automatically, then you can force close it.
Although the days of Flash player as we know it are numbered, Google Chrome still comes with a built-in version of Flash – there’s no need to install a separate plugin to enable Flash on Google Chrome.
If any of the Chrome plugins not working the way you want it, take the necessary step to make the content load.
